I like challenges. The bigger the better! I taught Spin Classes for years. Then I started road cycling in 2010 and did the Challenged Athlete’s Foundation Million Dollar Challenge Ride (628 miles from San Fran to La Jolla in 7 days) in 2010 and 2011. I took a break from distance cycling and fundraising due to a blood clot that severely affected the vision in my right eye in 2015. My doctors and surgeons advised me to stay off my bike because my vision and depth perception aren’t great these days… After not riding for 2 years, the call of the road was too great and I decided to at least TRY riding again. My buddies Travis and Hudson were good sports and rode with me to see how I did and keep me safe. And I was fine. NO issues at all. So I’m back and looking forward to a new challenge and cause including the Tour de Natchez Trace later this month.
